This Privacy Policy explains how Love Power Up, LLC (“Love Power Up,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Toro App mobile application (“Toro App” or the “App”). By using Toro App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through Toro App, information made available to us by Apple in connection with distribution and subscriptions, and information you provide when you contact us for customer support. It does not apply to the independent privacy practices of Apple, OpenRouter, AI model providers, or other third parties.
“Personal Data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual or household. Information that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual, including properly aggregated or deidentified information, is not Personal Data to the extent provided by applicable law.
Toro App may store the following information locally on your device:
Love Power Up does not receive this information merely because it is stored in Toro App on your device. Because Toro App has no account or login, locally stored conversation history and Group selections are not synchronized through a Love Power Up account.
When you send a message in Toro App, the App transmits the text of your message and relevant conversation context through OpenRouter to an AI model provider so that a response can be generated. The model provider may be Mistral or another provider made available through OpenRouter, including a provider used for routing, availability, performance, or fallback purposes. The generated response is returned to Toro App and may then be stored locally as part of your conversation history.
The App does not permit you to upload images, audio, video, documents, or other files. You should not include confidential, sensitive, financial, medical, legal, identifying, or other information in a chat that you do not want transmitted to third-party AI service providers.
Toro App currently offers subscriptions through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Apple processes the transaction and may provide Toro App or Love Power Up with limited purchase and entitlement information, such as the subscription product, subscription status, transaction or entitlement identifiers, expiration information, and whether a purchase has been restored. Love Power Up does not receive or store your full payment-card number or other complete payment credentials.
We may add distribution through Google Play in the future. If we do, Google may process purchases and provide limited transaction and entitlement information under its own terms and privacy practices.
We may receive analytics, sales, subscription, performance, crash, diagnostic, and other information that Apple makes available to developers through App Store Connect, StoreKit, or related Apple services. The specific information available may depend on Apple’s services, your device settings, Apple’s policies, and whether you have chosen to share analytics or diagnostics with developers.
Toro App may offer push notifications. If this feature is implemented and you grant permission, Apple Push Notification service may process a device token and notification-delivery information to deliver notifications to your device. We do not currently use a third-party advertising or marketing platform to deliver Toro App notifications. You can control notification permissions through your device settings.
If you contact us, we may receive your email address, the contents of your message, attachments you choose to provide, and any other information you voluntarily submit. Please do not send us sensitive information that is unnecessary to resolve your request.
We may use information for the following purposes:
Toro App uses OpenRouter to route AI requests to third-party model providers. These providers may include Mistral and may include other providers used for fallback, availability, performance, or other operational reasons. OpenRouter and each downstream model provider have their own data-handling, security, logging, retention, and legal compliance practices.
Depending on the applicable account settings, request settings, model endpoint, and provider policies, OpenRouter or a downstream provider may process or retain prompt content, response content, request metadata, token counts, latency information, abuse-prevention information, or other technical data. Love Power Up does not promise that every request is processed under a zero-data-retention arrangement. Provider practices may change over time.
Love Power Up does not operate its own cloud archive of Toro App chat histories. This does not mean that third-party AI providers never process or retain information associated with an individual request. Their processing is governed by their applicable policies, contractual terms, technical configurations, and legal obligations.
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Toro App does not contain third-party advertising. Love Power Up does not sell Personal Data and does not share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by applicable California law. We do not use data brokers to obtain information about Toro App users, and we do not use Toro App information to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising.
Toro App does not currently provide an in-app control for deleting individual conversations or all locally stored App data. To remove the locally stored Toro App conversation history, AI-generated responses, Group-selection identifiers, and preferences from a device, you must delete Toro App from that device.
Deleting Toro App generally removes the App’s locally stored data from that device. Love Power Up cannot remotely retrieve, export, correct, or delete information that exists only on your device and was never received by us. You should not rely on Love Power Up to recover locally stored information that is lost because the App was deleted, the device was lost, damaged, reset, replaced, or otherwise became unavailable.
Deleting Toro App does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Subscription cancellation must be completed through Apple. StoreKit or Restore Purchases may restore your active subscription tier after reinstallation, but it does not restore locally stored chat history or the Group-selection identifiers that were removed when the App was deleted. If an active subscription is restored after reinstallation and no Group is assigned locally, the App may permit a new Group selection consistent with the restored subscription tier.
Canceling a subscription without deleting the App does not itself erase locally stored conversations or Group selections. If you later resubscribe on the same installation and the local information remains present, the prior Group selection or selections may become active again.
Locally stored Toro App information remains on the device until the App or its data is deleted, or until it is otherwise removed by the device or operating system.
OpenRouter and downstream AI model providers may retain request content or technical information for periods determined by their applicable settings, endpoint policies, security practices, contractual terms, and legal obligations. Because the relevant routing and provider configuration may vary, we do not guarantee a specific third-party retention period for every AI request.
Apple retains transaction, subscription, analytics, diagnostic, and related information according to Apple’s own policies. We may retain information made available to us by Apple for as long as reasonably necessary for subscription administration, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our agreements.
We may retain customer-support correspondence and related records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, maintain business records, resolve disputes, protect against misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information within our control. However, no device, transmission method, network, storage system, or third-party service is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information stored on your device or transmitted to Apple, OpenRouter, an AI model provider, or another service provider.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, device passcode, Apple ID, and other credentials used to access your device or subscriptions.
Love Power Up and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. Where required by applicable law, we will use legally recognized safeguards for international transfers of Personal Data within our control.
Because Toro App has no account or login and much of its data is stored only on the device, we may be unable to identify you or fulfill a request involving local conversation history or Group selections that we do not possess. To exercise an applicable privacy right regarding information held by Apple, OpenRouter, or an AI model provider, you may need to contact that company directly.
Toro App is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit use of Toro App by, or knowingly collect Personal Data through Toro App from, anyone under 18. If you believe that a person under 18 has provided Personal Data to Love Power Up through customer support or another channel that we control, please contact us. We will take appropriate steps where we can identify and access the information.
This section applies to California residents to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), applies to Love Power Up and the information at issue.
Subject to the CCPA’s scope, exceptions, and verification requirements, California residents may have the right to:
Love Power Up does not sell Personal Data or share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not engage in those practices, we do not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link for Toro App.
You or an authorized agent may submit an applicable request by emailing support@lovepowerup.com. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the request and your authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may deny or limit a request where an exception applies or where we cannot reasonably verify the request.
Many Toro App conversations and settings are stored only on the device and are not accessible to Love Power Up. A privacy request sent to us cannot cause us to access, correct, export, or delete device-only information that we do not possess.
If applicable data-protection law in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland applies, our legal bases for processing Personal Data may include:
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; request data portability; withdraw consent; and complain to a competent data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
These rights apply to Personal Data that Love Power Up actually controls. They may not enable us to access or alter information stored only on your device or information independently controlled by Apple, OpenRouter, or an AI model provider.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Toro App, our service providers, technology, legal requirements, or our privacy practices. We will post the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we may provide additional notice through Toro App, the App Store listing, or another reasonable method. Because Toro App has no account or login, we may not have an email address through which to notify you.
For questions about this Privacy Policy or to exercise an applicable privacy right regarding information controlled by Love Power Up, contact us at support@lovepowerup.com.
